Good Times Rok & Waegook Travel is hosting a special trip during the Lunar New Year weekend. This trip has all the best things to offer on Geoje Island (2nd largest island in Korea). Why be stuck in your area not doing much for Lunar New Year when you can enjoy a great weekend on stunning and warmer Geoje Island. Join us for our signature BBQ dinner and other delicious meals, an amazing sunset cruise and lots of exciting activities. We will be doing exhilarating Go Kart Racing, fun Mountain Trail ATV’s, Zip-lining over the sea, breath-taking Oedo Botanical Island, stunning Island Tour, and much more!

Our accommodation is in a beautiful Luxury Hotel with a nice pool for our guests. The hotel is only a 5-minute walk down to the beach and all the convenience stores, coffee shops, and restaurants are very close to us. All activities will be optional since some people would rather just chill on the beach or hang by the pool. It is all up to you what you want to do!

The hotel renovated to more western style soft beds so you can rest assure that you can get a great night’s sleep, or you can just chill in the hot tub in your room. The rooms with hot tubs are limited so make sure you HURRY and book if you want a room with the tub.

COVID MEASURES:

Under KCDC and Korean Government guidelines, everyone that goes on this trip must have a temperature check before boarding the bus and having a mask. If you have a high temperature of 37.4c or higher then you will NOT be permitted to go on the trip.

Everyone must have a mask on when we are out in all public areas.
Must maintain a 2-meter distance between people where possible.
Hand sanitizer will be available at the front of the bus, please use it, and wash your hands regularly where possible.
The amount of people in a group will be determined by the regulations set out by the Korean Government at the time of the tour.
WARNING! There can be people taking pictures if grouped up more than 8 and they can report you. Fines can be enforced by the city to each person for breaking the rules of the amount KRW 100,000
There is a temperature / sanitizer machine behind the driver’s seat on the right when you first board. Put your hand in the open area and it will take your temperature and spray out hand sanitizer.

The prices below are Early Bird 1 Prices which are valid until January 15 (Add 10 000 for bookings and payments after January 15).
Group Organizers get a discount of KRW 5 000 Per Person for group bookings of 3 or more guests.

Price is Per Person for the 3 Nights in a Deluxe Twin or Ondol Room. The package is based on 4 guests sharing a Deluxe Twin Room with 2 soft double beds or an ondol room. All rooms with bathroom and kitchenette. Twin Rooms and Ondol Rooms have no Jacuzzi hot tubs.

UPGRADE PACKAGE (B) cost: KRW 320 000 PP:

5 Meals: Meals are served at the hotel pool restaurant. Vegetarian and Halal Options are provided for all meals. Please let us know in advance in your booking form.

Breakfast x 3: All breakfasts served with juice, fruits and coffee. Two Western style breakfasts with bacon, sausages, eggs, toast, potato, cheese, jam, coffee etc. and one breakfast with toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwiches.

Please be at the departure point at least 10 minutes prior to departure. (All departures on Saturday are in the Morning – AM).
NOTE: All times and activities are subject to change. We reserve the right to cancel or add departures depending on demand. If a departure is cancelled an alternative departure point or transport will be arranged.

05:00 Seoul – Noksapyeong (Noksapyeong Subway Exit 2).
05:40 Suwon (Cheongmyeong Subway Station Exit 1).
06:40 Cheonan – In front of Sinsegae Department store across from Mr. Pizza (Sinsegae is by Cheonan Intercity Bus Terminal).
08:10 Daejeon (In front of Yongjeon Dong Homeplus).

CENTRAL & SOUTHERN DEPARTURES

OTHER DEPARTURES:

Let us know if you have a big group and we will try and accommodate your departure. We need at least 10 people for an added departure near our routes above or 30 to 45 people for a separate bus from a city far from the routes above.

People meeting us on Geoje:

If you can’t make the time for the Gohyeon Departure, you can take City Buses 22 or 23 (KRW 1 300 and they leave every 25 minutes). Fast City Bus No 4 000 is KRW 1 400 and leaves every 2 hours). The bus takes about 50 minutes. A taxi takes only about 25 minutes if no traffic and it is more convenient, but costs around KRW 17 000. The exact location and info will be sent in the Final Arrangements before the tour.

SATURDAY, JAN 29 (After Arrival on Geoje):

12:30 Arrive Deokpo Beach for Zip line.
14:00 Depart Zip Line and head to the hotel.
14:30 Check in at our Wahyeon Beach Hotel.
15:00 – 18:00 Explore, book activities and enjoy free time on the beach coffee shops or by the pool restaurant.
18:30 – 20:30 BBQ Night 1.
20:30 – Free time (music, flip cup & other games).

SUNDAY, JAN 30:

08:30 – 9:30 Breakfast.
10:00 – 11:00 ATV (Round 1).
11:30 – 15:00 Geoje Island Tour (Included) & Go Karts (Optional).
16:20 – 18:00 Sunset Cruise.
18:30 – 22:00 Okpo Night (Dinner & Bar - Optional). Dinner (optional) at very popular Indian restaurant or you can have dinner at one of many other western and Korean restaurants there.
22:15 – Depart for Hotel.
